High Speed Doors in Lehighton
When a high speed door stalls, slows down or keeps reversing, traffic backs up and your heating or cooling escapes. We find the real cause, fix what can be fixed and tell you plainly when a part or the whole door has reached the end.

Keeping fast doors fast, without overselling
High speed doors cycle far more often than a standard overhead door. Some open and close hundreds of times a shift between the dock and the warehouse floor, or at a cooler or freezer opening in a grocery back room. All that cycling wears out drive belts, brakes, guides and sensors long before the door itself is finished.
That is why we start with repair. A torn fabric curtain, a misaligned photo eye or a drive controller with bad settings usually does not mean you need a new door. When the frame is bent, parts are no longer made or repairs keep stacking up, we show you what we found and explain why a new door would cost you less over time.
We work on fabric roll-up doors, self-repairing breakaway doors and rigid spiral-style doors at facilities across Lehighton and the surrounding area.

What our high speed door work covers
- 01
Curtain and panel work
Torn fabric sections, worn wind ribs and a bent bottom bar can usually be mended or swapped one piece at a time. On breakaway doors we reseat the edge that pops out of the guide after a forklift bump, or fit a new one if it is chewed up.
- 02
Drive and controller service
We check the motor, brake and variable frequency drive, then correct speed, acceleration and limit settings. A door that slams or creeps often needs adjustment, not a new motor.
- 03
Safety sensors and activation
Photo eyes, light curtains, radar or motion activators, floor loops and pull cords all get tested and aligned. A door that closes on a forklift or will not close at all usually traces back to one of these.
- 04
Guides, seals and alignment
We straighten bent guides or swap them out, clean the tracks and renew side and bottom seals so the curtain runs true and the opening stays sealed.
- 05
A new door when it is the right call
If repair no longer makes sense, we help you choose a door suited to the opening, the traffic and the temperature on each side. We take out the old unit and handle the install, the same way we do for our loading dock equipment installation work.
Questions about High Speed Doors?
Call(570) 672-5987Signs your high speed door needs attention
It runs slower than it used to
A door that drags open costs you seconds on every cycle. Worn belts, a failing brake or drifted drive settings are common causes.
Random reversing or stopping
Dirty or misaligned photo eyes and loose sensor wiring make a door think something is in the way. It is often a quick fix, but it should be checked before someone props the door open.
Fabric that is torn or pulling out
Rips, frayed edges or a curtain that keeps leaving the guide let air and dust through. Small tears grow quickly at high cycle counts.
Frost, drafts or condensation
At cooler and freezer openings, a poor seal shows up as ice on the floor or frost on the guides. During cold winters a leaky interior door also pushes heating bills up.
Fault codes or new noises
Grinding, clunking or a controller that keeps throwing the same error points to a part that is wearing out. Catching it early usually keeps the repair small.
How a service visit goes
- 1
Start with a phone call
Tell us the door type, what it is doing and roughly how many cycles it sees in a shift. With that, we can load the parts most likely to be needed before we head your way.
- 2
A full look at the door
Our technician checks the curtain, guides, drive, controller and every sensor rather than stopping at the first symptom. Anything worn or damaged gets photographed, so you see exactly what we see.
- 3
You get a clear recommendation
We explain what is wrong, what fixing it involves and whether repair or a new door is the better spend. Nothing starts until you say go.
- 4
We fix it and test it
We work around your schedule to keep downtime short, then run the door through repeated cycles and test the safety devices before we leave. Old parts and debris leave with us.
What affects the cost of high speed door work
Every door and opening is different, so we price each job after we see it. Most repairs come down to which parts are worn and how hard they are to reach. You will know what we recommend and why before we start.
- Door type and size
- Fabric roll-up doors, breakaway doors and rigid spiral doors use different parts. Larger openings need bigger curtains and heavier drives.
- Which parts have failed
- Aligning a sensor is a small job. A new drive controller, motor or full curtain costs more.
- Parts availability
- Older or discontinued models can make parts harder to find. When that happens, we tell you whether it still makes sense to repair.
- Access and timing
- High mounting, tight clearances or work scheduled around shifts can add time. Freezer and cooler openings may also need extra care to keep product at temperature.
High speed door questions
Can a torn high speed door curtain be repaired, or does it need replacing?
Many tears can be patched, or the damaged panel swapped out, without a whole new curtain. If the fabric is brittle, stretched or torn in several places, a new curtain usually holds up better. We will show you the damage and explain which way we would go.
Why does my door keep reversing for no reason?
Most of the time it is a dirty or misaligned photo eye, a light curtain out of position or a loose wire. Sometimes the activation settings are too sensitive. We test each device and correct the one causing the trouble.
Do you work on doors you did not install?
Yes. We service most common high speed door styles, whatever brand they are or who put them in. If a part is no longer available for your model, we tell you up front.
How long will my opening be out of service?
Sensor and adjustment repairs often happen in a single visit. Curtain or drive work can take longer, especially if parts need to be ordered. We plan the work with you so the door is down for as little time as possible.
Should I swap my high speed door for a standard overhead door?
It depends on how often the opening cycles and whether it separates different temperatures. For busy interior openings, a high speed door usually pays for itself in saved time and energy. For low-traffic openings, our overhead doors page covers simpler options we also service.
